i got the dimming to work but i cant seem to get the advanced settings to turn on, this stuff use work before the remodel. im using an odyssey g80sd displayport. the game i was testing this on was marvel rivals
Thanks for the extra details, the Odyssey G80SD + Marvel Rivals info helps. A few quick things will tell us exactly what's happening: 1. Autopilot: if it's on, it takes over the noise/pattern and advanced tuning controls automatically, so manual changes can look like they "won't turn on" or won't stick. On the Advanced page, hit Disable Autopilot, then try the controls again. Do they become adjustable and stay where you set them? 2. Where does it fail? With Autopilot off and the noise overlay on, do you see the effect on the desktop / a normal windowed app, or only fail to show inside Marvel Rivals in fullscreen? (Many fullscreen games on modern GPUs use a present mode that blocks screen capture, which would stop the detection-based overlay specifically while the edge dimming still works.) 3. What does "won't turn on" look like: controls greyed-out/unclickable, or they work but you see no visible effect? A screenshot of the Overlay and Advanced pages would nail it. One note: the noise/pattern overlay is intentionally subtle (it spreads pixel wear without being obvious), so on a bright fast game it can be hard to see even when working. The edge dimming is the visible part by design. If easy, which app version was the advanced overlay last clearly visible on?
