The AR glasses are not recognized in "Mirror Mode" under are not recognized under OLED Guard. Only if I set "Only Second Monitor" under Windows. Mothrrboard ASUS ProArt X670E-CREATOR and the GPU 5080 from Asus Noctua. I have my ASUS PG348Q monitor on the DisplayPort of the graphics card and the JVC XP-EXT1 sound system on the HDMI, where only the sound comes out via HDMI. The AR glasses Viture PRO 2 are connected to the USB-C port with DP Alt Mode. And when I mirror the ASUS PG348Q monitor for my AR glasses, OLED Guard only detects the JVC XP-EXT1 sound system and not the Viture PRO 2 AR glasses.
Thank you for the detailed setup description, it made this easy to trace. Fixed for the next update. In Windows duplicate (mirror) mode, all mirrored displays share one logical screen, and OLED Guard identified that screen by only the last display Windows listed, which on your system was the JVC on HDMI, so the Viture glasses never appeared. Protection was still covering the mirrored image, but the monitor list was wrong, and if you had ever turned the JVC off in OLED Guard it would have disabled the whole mirror group. The app now recognizes a mirror group as one entry that names every display in it (shown as "Mirrored (N displays)") with a stable identity, and per-monitor settings, HDR handling and brightness control apply to the group as a whole. A separate labeling bug that showed HDMI connections as DVI was fixed at the same time.
Fixed in 5.9.0, now live on Steam and the Microsoft Store. Mirrored displays are listed as one group that names every panel (your Viture glasses included), with a stable identity so a disabled entry can no longer switch off the whole group at startup. The connection labels were also corrected (HDMI no longer shows as DVI). Thank you for the detailed setup description.
